About Hursh Tarun Sanghavi

Hursh Tarun Sanghavi represents the Singapore Campus. Originally from Singapore, he is a fourth-year student pursuing a degree in Aeronautics with a minor in Airport Management.

Hursh has a strong record of actively contributing to the development of the Singapore Campus through leadership positions, including serving as president of the Student Government Association (SGA) and on the New Campus Committee. For his academic excellence and contributions, he was awarded the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University – Asia Scholarship in October 2022.

His future career goals include earning a commercial pilot license and exploring roles in aircraft leasing and sales. Most recently, Hursh interned at the airline services company Scoot Tigerair, where he took the opportunity to build and implement an online continuous learning system for the human resources department.

As a delegate, Hursh is eager to listen to student feedback and learn about the educational experience at other residential campuses to develop new ideas and initiatives. He hopes he can contribute to the development of Embry-Riddle, and make a lasting impact on the institution for future generations of students.

“I have a responsibility to the Asia Campus’ students to represent them as a delegate,” Hursh said.

Outside of class, Hursh is active in sports. He is a member of the Football Club and practices boxing. He also enjoys playing video games with friends and family.
