Jane Egorova represents the Daytona Beach Campus. Originally from Korolev, Russia and Marbella, Spain, Jane is a senior majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Management.
Jane is currently serving as president of the Student Government Association (SGA) at the Daytona Beach Campus. She is the first international student to hold the position and is the second female president in the organization’s history. In addition to her responsibilities as SGA president, Jane has taken on various campus leadership roles, including acting as a Woman Ambassador, Resident Advisor, and Peer Mentor.
She is a dedicated member of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) and the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). At the 2023 Florida State FBLA Competition, she earned first place in the Impromptu Speaking category.
Jane has achieved a number of academic distinctions, including being selected for the Business Eagles program, the International Business Honor Society Delta Mu Delta, and the Dean’s List. Her exceptional accomplishments as a female leader and international student have earned her Embry-Riddle scholarships, including the Woman of Excellence Award and the International Transfer Scholarship.
Jane recently interned as a Project Coordinator with the global power tech company Cummins Inc.
As a delegate, Jane aims to serve as a voice for the students of the Daytona Beach Campus, representing their needs, wants, and values in a productive and informative manner that facilitates change and improvement.
“It’s important to me, because I believe everyone must be heard,” she said. “I believe that a lot of the time students feel like their opinions don’t matter, when they matter more than anyone will know.”
In her spare time, Jane loves to travel, play board games, read books, and spend time with friends. She has also been known to bake for people’s special days.
